We are thrilled to announce a significant milestone in the journey towards the ELASA 2024 meeting in Türkiye. A formal protocol has been signed between the ELASA 2024 Türkiye and the Landscape Architecture Education and Science Association (PEMDER), marking a collaborative effort to ensure the success of the upcoming event.
About PEMDER
PEMDER (Landscape Architecture Education and Science Association) was established on January 15, 2018, through the initiative of 7 academics who were involved in the establishment of PEMKON or served as term presidents, including faculty members from the Landscape Architecture Department in the founding city and various universities across our country.
PEMDER aims to contribute to the development of landscape architecture education, teaching, and research in Türkiye, as well as the profession of landscape architecture itself. It focuses on fostering knowledgeable, skilled, and research-oriented professionals, promoting academic collaboration, and supporting the accreditation of educational programs.
The Protocol
This collaboration between ELASA 2024 Türkiye and PEMDER signifies a shared commitment to the success of the ELASA 2024 meeting. It aims not only to ensure the event's success but also to promote the landscapes of Türkiye and landscape architecture education within the country more effectively.

ELASA 2024 Türkiye ve PEMDER İş Birliği Protokolü İmzaladı
ELASA 2024 Türkiye toplantısına yönelik yolculuğumuzda önemli bir kilometre taşına ulaşmaktan mutluluk duyuyoruz. ELASA 2024 Türkiye ile Peyzaj Mimarlığı Eğitim ve Bilim Derneği (PEMDER) arasında, yaklaşan etkinliğin başarısını sağlamak için iş birliği içinde bir protokol imzalanmıştır.
PEMDER Hakkında
PEMDER (Peyzaj Mimarlığı Eğitim ve Bilim Derneği), 15.01.2018 tarihinde, PEMKON'un kuruluşunda görev alan ya da dönem başkanlığı görevini yürüten, kurulduğu kentte ve ülkemizin çeşitli üniversitelerinde görev yapan 7 akademisyenin girişimiyle kurulmuştur.
PEMDER'in amacı, Türkiye'de peyzaj mimarlığı eğitim-öğretimi ve araştırmalarının ve peyzaj mimarlığı mesleğinin gelişimine katkıda bulunmak; bilgili, becerili ve araştırmacı meslek mensupları yetiştirmek; akademik iş birliğini teşvik etmek ve öğretim programlarının akreditasyonuna destek olmaktır.
Protokol Hakkında
ELASA 2024 Türkiye ve PEMDER arasındaki bu iş birliği, ELASA 2024 toplantısının başarısına ortak bir taahhüt ve Türkiye peyzajlarının ile Türkiye'deki peyzaj mimarlığı eğitimini daha etkin bir şekilde tanıtma amacını taşımaktadır.
