The theme for the next ELASA meeting to be held in Turkey has been set as "Landscape Memory." This theme provides an excellent foundation to explore Turkey's unique geographical diversity and rich cultural heritage. It emphasizes the factors that form identity and image through the ever-changing dynamics of time and space, focusing on the patterns and processes that define the character of urban and rural landscapes. The ELASA 2024/Turkey meeting aims to examine the processes that have shaped and transformed the landscape memory in Turkey.

May 4th: Belgrade Forest excursion, ELASA Tree, tour around Şişhane/Galata, Panel discussion, Bosphorus cruise, International Night (Istanbul)
May 5th: Gazhane Museum, Kuzguncuk, Yedikule Fortress, Rami Library (Istanbul)
May 6th: Travel from Istanbul to Izmir, visit to the ancient city of Pergamon and the old town center of Bergama (Izmir)
May 7th: Urla Olive Route, Urla town center, Urla Grape Route (Izmir)
May 8th: Yeşilova Mound, Ancient City of Smyrna, Alsancak Culture and Art Factory (Izmir)
